I am interested in building a new home and would like to explore other options for electricity/power for my new home. The reason I ask is because I want to build in a rural area. I had looked into this idea a few months ago. I've scene prices from around $8,000 to $50,000. Much depends on the type of tower you erect.
I had decided that if I went this route, I'd combine it with solar power & batteries.
