can we manufacture solar panels at home? any guide or book available for the solar panel making & installation?
of these solar panels? i am talking about the feasability in India. please advice.
You can use passive solar energy without solar panels. Some of those are very low-tech - solar ovens, water heaters and the like can be constructed with dark plastic, tin foil and some ingenuity if you’ve got a good set of plans to work from.
For generating electricity though, it’s trickier - though there are some people who claim to have kits and plans available that are considerably cheaper than the $25,000 and up, up, up that a contractor will charge for professional installation. Most of those savings are in the labor, I’m sure.
surely, its’ possible.
But you have to do more research.

No. Solar panels are made with crystals that can only be made in high quality factories. That’s why they’re so expensive.

You might make solar water heating panels.
If you mean solar electric panels, I believe it’s not possible to build your own in a cost-effective manner. Watch out for scams that suggest you could power your whole house cheaply. If you looked on a bittorrent search site and entered "solar panel" , you would probably see a copy of such a guide posted by an unsatisfied customer. If you then judged that the material was worth it, you could always go to the original site and buy it.
I don’ t know what the laws in India are regarding bittorrent, though.

You can assemble solar panels at home by purchasing solar cells. A solar panel with 28 solar cells connected in series will generate about 14 volts DC. This is the right voltage to charge a 12 volt battery. You will need a DC to AC inverter to change the 12 volt DC power into 120 or 220 volts AC.

Homemade Solar Panels
If I was to choose between homemade solar panels and store bought solar panels I’ll choose the homemade ones any day. They look as good as store bought ones but they’re a lot cheaper. It’s quite shocking how much you can save by building them yourself. Makes me wonder why the price tag of solar panels is so high.
I have yet to come up with a good answer for that yet so my current answer is because they can. I mean, it costs $110 to build a 72 panel, but to buy the same one costs at least $450 (used). The two don’t look any different and they both produce the same amount of power.
Oh well, now that I’ve started building homemade solar panels I’m never going to buy one. A beginner can build their first panel within 3 hours (once you’ve done a couple you can get that down to 2 hours). If you look at that from an hourly rate you’re saving at least $100/hour. Saving that much money is almost like making that much money so that’s pretty darn good.
I have many people ask me whether it’s difficult to build homemade solar panels. I always reply "all you need to do is want to build them". It’s true, solar panels have no moving parts. All that’s required is delicate handling and some soldering (that’s the only hard part). Soldering??? I can’t solder!! Sure you can. I’ve shown tons of people who have never soldered in their life how to do it within a couple minutes. They were pumping out their own panels in no time! The pictures I get are great. People will say "I build 20 panels and saved around $8K". Those kinds of emails come in every day.
If you take in an entire solar panel installation you’re going to save thousands of dollars. Homemade solar panels are definitely the way to go. They’re inexpensive, easy to build, and they look as good as ones you buy
