Location and roof space are the 2 most important ones that will affect costs on a residential project. California happens to have some of the better state and federal incentives. If I were to ballpark an average residential cost I would say in the 25k region give or take. Annual savings for me were close to $1000 and my system only covers about a third of my usage.
