where to get plans to build solar panels at home?

Posted on 3rd March 2010 by admin in solar panels home

I am interested in building solar panels for my own use. I think an output of around 20 watts will be sufficient for my purpose if I can tie them together and charge deep cycle batteries. Need the plans for dummies as I know nothing about these things. Thanks for any help you can provide me!

If you want to make solar panels and get an energy rebate, this link will show you how.

  2. If you look around at torrent search sites, you’re sure to find "solar panel" posted by a disgruntled customer. The plans for sale on the internet are generally a waste of money - they only give information that one could find free on other web pages.

Remember that this is generally not a way to save money. It’s a project that you do for fun. If you go to eBay and search for solar cells, I’m sure the vendors will have information on how to hook the cells together into panels. After all, they want to sell to you.
